We offer the following yogic practices.  All with excellent benefits.   However, it is very important that after learning a new practice you do it daily for 6 to 8 weeks at least once a day for it to take root, grow within and become a part of your system.

No previous experience is needed for any of the practices and they can be safely learnt by people of various competence levels.  If you need help choosing which practice is best for you please talk to us.

All the above practices are as taught under Isha Hatha Yoga lineage, as workshops. These are best suited for those in reasonably good health and have the discipline and dedication toward building a consistent home practice.

 

If you are looking for daily guided class or are recovering from a health condition, have considerable flexibilily/weight challenges then the online stretching/ strengthening (Sharir Sanchalan, Pavan Muktasan) sessions may be more suitable.

Health Related Guidelines:

Surgery:

Since surgeries and individuals may vary in severity and healing time, ensure to consult doctor before starting the practice. 

• Any major open surgery, must wait at least 6 months to do any practice. 
• Nadi Shuddhi, Mantra Yoga, Nada Yoga, Chit Shakti Meditation, Sushanti Meditation, Bhuta Shuddhi & Isha Kriya maybe done only with doctor’s advice.
• Laproscopic surgery, if no complications, they can practice after 6 weeks.
• Must do all practices slowly & gently initially. If noticing any discomfort, you are advised to stop and allow more time for recovery.

Conditions for Practice

Most practices require empty stomach conditions.  Some can be done on light stomach.

​

Please refer the guidelines below to know how many hours gap is needed after consuming a meal/snack/beverage.

​

Adults Empty Stomach Condition (Age 14 yrs and above)

Full Meal: 4 hours
Snack: 2.5 hours
Beverage: 1.5 hours

​

Childrens Empty Stomach Condition (Age 13 yrs and below)

Full Meal: 2.5 hours
Snack: 1.5 hours 
Beverage: 1 hour
